My name is Heli-Maarja Varvas, I’m a 2D artist and designer.
I am a professional game artist creating and reworking assets for slot games. I have also worked on other types of games, like bingo.
I have a Bachelor of Arts from Estonian Academy of Arts, I specialised in “Sculpture and Installation”.
While studying at the university, I learned Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on my own.
I wanted to get into video game art, I applied to Gamesys and spent 5+ years working with cool people on slot games. I have participated in numerous game jams as a 2D artist.
Currently, I’m working at Nabuminds as a designer.
I love working in a team! I believe that an artist can never stop learning and am ready to tackle new challenges.
